Saturday Guest Info

Hello friends! We’re so excited that you’ll be joining us for our wedding celebrations at the gorgeous Elmley Nature Reserve. We’ve got a magical weekend planned and can’t wait to share it all with you. Here’s everything you need to know to get settled and enjoy your stay!

Booking Accommodation

We want you to feel completely relaxed and at home while enjoying the stunning nature reserve with us, so we've reserved one of Elmley's charming accommodations just for you.

You'll find the name of your accommodation written on your invite and find your relevant info below.

Bell Tent Meadow

We've reserved a spot for you in the beautiful bell tent meadow, where you can enjoy nature and sleep under the stars. Click here to see more pictures and details on the Elmley website.

Due to the limited number of tents, we’ll be asking on the RSVP form if you’re happy to share with close friends. Once we’ve received everyone’s accommodation preferences, we’ll group guests into tents to make sure everyone is comfortable and has a great place to stay. Families will always have their own private tents, and we’ll arrange comfy beds, travel cots, or futons for children and babies as needed.

How It Works

• Tent Groups: After grouping guests, we’ll assign a lead guest for each tent.

• Lead Guest Role: The lead guest will be contacted by the venue via email with your tent group details and booking instructions. They’ll be responsible for booking the tent and managing the payment.

• Co-ordinating Payment: If you’re the lead guest, please chat with your tent group to work out how to split the cost.

You're very welcome to rearrange or swap tent groups either before the wedding or even on the night if needed. Of course, if you'd prefer to stay somewhere else, that's absolutely fine - just let us know! We've put together a list of alternative places to stay here to help you find the perfect spot.

Elmley Cottage

Click here to see pictures and more details about the beautiful Elmley Cottage.

Once you RSVP, the venue will email a lead guest from each family to guide you through the booking and payment process.

Of course, if you'd prefer to stay somewhere else, that's absolutely fine - just let us know! We've put together a list of alternative places to stay here to help you find the perfect spot.

Itinerary

  • Your weekend begins on Saturday, 31st May 2025. Please arrive from 11AM to check into your accommodation.

    Bell Tent Meadow

The bell tents are very cosy and will be set up with:

    • Proper beds: Comfy mattresses, soft duvets, pillows and fresh linen are all provided

    • Blankets: For anyone who might feel the chill in the evening!

    • Camp kitchen: Everything you need to make tea, coffee or a quick bite

    • Bathroom facilities: Hot camping showers and loos are located in the meadow just a short walk from your tent

To help you feel refreshed after your journey, there will be a large dressing studio available with hairdryers, irons and floor-length mirrors. This space is all yours to get ready or freshen up, or else your tent will also be big enough to get changed comfortably.

Heads up: Not all bell tents have plug sockets for phone charging, so feel free to use the studio for charging or bring a portable power bank if you have one.

  • The first food will be served after the ceremony with canapés around 2:30 PM, so you might want to pack some snacks if you think you’ll get peckish before then. The camp kitchen in the bell tent meadow has everything you need to make tea, coffee, or a quick bite to tide you over. Elmley Cottage also has a fully equipped kitchen.

  • • 12:30 PM: Head over to the Farmhouse Garden at 12:30pm for pre-ceremony drinks.

    • 1:30 PM: The ceremony will take place outdoors surrounded by the stunning scenery of the reserve.

    • After the Ceremony: We will celebrate with drinks and canapés in the courtyard, followed by dinner in the barn.

    • Evening Festivities: There will be live music, dancing, and late-night food served at 10:00 PM. The night will close with a fire pit party after the live music wraps up at midnight.

  • After a long night of celebrating, we invite you to join us for a refreshing morning plunge in the wild swimming pond at 9:00 AM (this is completely optional but highly encouraged!) Afterwards, there will be a complementary big buffet breakfast served in the barn for all guests.

  • At 10:45 AM, we’ll have a quick send-off as we depart for our honeymoon. All guests are kindly asked to check out of their accommodations by 11:00 AM.

We’re so so excited to spend this special weekend with you and can’t wait to create unforgettable memories together. See you soon for the celebrations!
